Item description for Forgotten Revival, A by Stanley C. Griffin & Griffin C. Stanley...
For Christians there is no better way to use our energy and resources than setting aside our homes for God's purposes. Opening our homes is a first step to sharing our faith with neighbours friends and work colleagues who are reluctant initially at least to attend a churchbased event. An excellent and practical guide.

East Anglia Revival and Fishermen's Revival 1921-1922 Dec 29, 2009
A Forgotten Revival by Stanley C. A: Griffin. This book is about the East Anglia Revival and Fishermen's Revival 1921-1922 as it began at Lowestoft on the east coast of England under Jock Troup (with ministers helping out), a former barrel maker, turned evangelist with a trumpet of a voice who always preached at a roar!
The revival moves up north into Scotland as the fishermen plied their trade in herring as the shoals migrated. The account of the revival is very good and like the title suggest, it is a forgotten revival from England (which sadly most Christians do not know about.
