I LOVED this book - Gave it to my daughter for her birthday! May 5, 2009
This is a "two kleenex box" book for sure...I really like how the author devotes a whole page to small quotes...."I am so grateful to my mother for giving me the roots and wings to be the type of mother who can handle this person who is my daughter...." I personalized the book for my daughter by adding my own quote underneath..."Judy you are everything I ever wanted to be and more - I am so proud of the woman you have become..." She loved it. She cried - I cried. There is a story for everyone in this little book - LoveItLoveItLoveIt!!!!
Truly Heartwarming Feb 15, 2009
What a feel-good little book! I found so many stories that I could relate to, many of which were almost identical to my life experiences. My feelings were the same as when you hear an old song on the radio that takes you back to a particular time in life. I got a big chuckle when I read the "Flinstone Feet" chapter, as it has particular meaning for me! This book would be a great Mothers' Day gift or just a nice little read for a Sunday afternoon.
