Reviews - What do customers think about Chronicles Of A Two Year Old?
A valuable collection of sermonettes, but know what to expect May 11, 2007
This debut book by Greg Holmes offers plenty of encouragement. He uses stories of parenting his daughters as a spring-board for faith application. I loved looking through this window into his life. He offers a candid view through a personal, conversational style. His doctrine is sound and his challenges timely.
I feel the subtitle is misleading. I bought the book expecting an in-depth look into child-like faith. Unfortunately, there was very little explanation of what that means or may look like. Also, I was disappointed with the length. As soon as I started to get into a chapter, it ended and the next started with a different topic. Most are only 2-3 pages; the entire book is only 75 pages -- very short for the price. This is more like a collection of sermonettes than a book with a common theme.
