Reviews - What do customers think about Ghosts, UFOs, and the Blessed Virgin Mary?
A Review of the Book: "Ghosts, UFOs, and the Blessed Virgin Mary" Nov 22, 2006
Reviewed By: Helena Lehman, Author of the "Language of God" Book Series
For those with spiritual discernment, author Gordon Sironen has written a fascinating, though deeply disturbing exploration of the astounding rise in paranormal activity over the last two centuries of human history. Though the Devil's demonic minions have always been around to plague mankind with evil, grief, and sorrow, Gordon feels that there is good reason to believe that the last two thousand years of the Church Age may literally have fulfilled the Millennial Rule of Christ spoken of in the Book of Revelation, and that we are now living in the period when Satan has been released from prison, and is plaguing mankind with more evil, and deception than in any previous age because "the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time" (Revelation 12:12 -NKJ).
Since I believe that all biblical prophecy can have a dual, or even triple fulfillment, I am willing to entertain Gordon's End Time ideas, even though I have a Pre-Millennial view, and believe there will be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and a seven-year Great Tribulation. I also believe that the coming Millennial Rule of Christ terrifies Satan, partly because he knows that he will be imprisoned for that thousand-year period of peace and joy for humanity, and he will not be able to mislead anyone for that entire time. Therefore, Satan is likely as wrathful now as he will be at the end of Christ's literal reign on Earth!
Gordon's book is a skillfully arranged series of twenty chapters called "Oracles." My dictionary defines "oracle" as an obscure utterance, or revealing of wisdom believed to come from a divine source. What Gordon is implying by calling each chapter an oracle is that they not only reveal hidden wisdom, but also serve as an urgent warning to mankind that many are being spiritually deceived, and are on the broad "way that leads to destruction" (Matthew 7:13). Sadly, these lost souls may perish due to their love for the Devil's false spirituality, which comes in many obscure, but equally deadly forms, such as UFO phenomena.
Gordon believes (as I do) that UFO's are manifestations of spiritual entities entering our dimension through an unnatural breach between the unseen spiritual world where angels and demons dwell, and the material, physical universe we inhabit. Sadly, not all spirits entering our realm are friendly, and though many of them are not angels of light, they appear to be to those who are being deceived (2 Corinth. 11:13-14), especially among the many Christian and New Age cults that Gordon explores in his book. In addition to UFO phenomena, and the enormous rise in New Age and Christian cults, Gordon examines the mysterious escalation of Marian apparitions, and their subtly heretical message that is incompatible with biblical teachings.
This book also notes that many spiritual beings claim to have come from the Pleiades Star System in the constellation of Taurus. I find this fascinating because I am an expert in the study of Sacred Astronomy and the Gospel in the Stars, and the Pleiades is home to a star named "Al Cyone," meaning "the Center." Uncannily, it seems the ancients knew something we are now just learning, because many prominent Astronomers believe that the center of the known Universe lies in the vicinity of the Pleiades! Many ancient people may also have believed that God's throne, as well as the heavenly abode of the dead was located in the vicinity of the Pleiades, and this may explain why demons that wish to deceive people often claim to be from that Star System.
Besides exposing the current rise in malevolent paranormal activity, this book has some unique explanations for why this is occurring. Gordon cites the major cause as a possible unwanted side affect of technological advancements, especially those involved in telephone, radio, television, hospital MRI scanning technology, and other types of electrical and magnetic forms of transmitting and gathering data. Indeed, every technological advancement of mankind seems to have coincided with an increase in paranormal activity, from the invention of the common light bulb, telephone, and telegraph, to the emergence of electrical lines running everywhere people dwell, to the massive increase in artificially generated electromagnetic signals constantly saturating our world, and our bodies with unhealthy levels of radiation.
All in all, this book is a major wake-up call to mankind, showing that our love for technology may not only be adversely affecting our physical health, but destroying our spiritual health as well. For those who want to know how to identify evil spiritual sources, and avoid being deceived by them, this is an excellent resource that I give a 5-star rating, and highly recommend reading.
Interesting Point of View Oct 26, 2006
This book defines the Fundamentalist Christian perspective of recent cultural phenomena, such as UFOs, and how these are indicators that we are living in the `end times.'
According to the author, Satan was unleashed on earth in the year 1864, and is responsible for all the UFO activity that has happened since. In fact, the author makes a strong argument is made that the so-called `grey' aliens at not extra-terrestrials at all; they are, according to this book, demons. Certainly an interesting theory to add to the UFO debate!
Fundamentalist Christians will like this book as it affirms their faith. Non-fundamentalist Christians, UFO buffs, and people of other faiths may also find this book interesting, even if they have a different point of view. It could certainly create some lively debate.
A GLIMPSE BEYOND THE VEIL Oct 20, 2006
We all have questions, some small, some large, some about life itself and where we fit in. At times these can be pretty daunting. Our culture and faith may give us guidance but often we need to look beyond that to the big picture, to our life on this planet and its history of visitors from beyond.
Gordon Sironen is many things. An author, scholar, researcher, and business owner. He brings to the table all of these attributes in the writing of this book. Because to answer or at least evaluate some of those questions that pop up, we need a bit of guidance. And by taking a some what obtuse direction Sironen brings us full circle. By using his wealth of knowledge of the Bible he gives us all, a chance to weigh the evidence and read between the lines.
Sironen's background in teaching shines through in this text. Face it, anyone who can get you knee deep in ghostly sightings and apparitions in one chapter, UFOs, quantum physics and string theory in another and have you still reading, knows his craft.
As we are led thru a history of visitations, enlightenment, and new beginnings, the highlight being in the 1800's, we learn that many of today's religions got their start in that time and still stand today. And with your own culture or belief system as a base take a look beyond the veil to all the possibilities, get some questions answered, and with your new found knowledge, delight in the new ones that emerge.
The best I've read on the subject Oct 14, 2006
I read Gordon Sironen's book in two days almost consistently because I couldn't put it down. Gordon Sironen is excellent in his research and writing. I had to find out how and why he put UFO's and the Blessed Virgin Mary in the same topic. As a Catholic, I not only found the answer but there wasn't anything offensive or derogatory in the context of his arguments. Since I'm an avid listener of Art Bell and George Noorie on Coast to Coast, I was familiar with all the names he mentioned who write on the subject of mysticism and paranormal phenomenon. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read a very interesting and well researched book on the subject of end times. His style of using Oracles for chapters is very convincing and mystical, in itself. In conclusion, with all the biblical quotes, I think Jesus Himself would know that the author is not only a warrior for Christ but a soul seeker for Christ, as well. Amazing how the world ties together in so many ways May 17, 2006

This book is truly amazing. I'm not sure if I'm a believer or not of the various 'realms' and strange occurrences. Are there truly UFO's and Ghosts and apparitions of heavenly hosts such as the Virgin Mary? Who's to truly say yes or no? This book sure does not state a simple yes or no to the questionable fact. What the book does do is create an amazingly interesting connection between them all. Not only does the author often correlate the 3 questionable happenings with both scientific and historic happenings but can toss in a verse or two from the Holy Bible to keep you wondering. Why is it that so many quickly believe in seeing something that they believe in but just as quickly dismiss something they don't? One of the best thoughts brought up in this book was the mere and simple fact that you never truly hear of an account of a Protestant or Hindu having a sighting of the Virgin Mary but Catholics seem to have many. Does this mean that it's not true or does this mean that all of these occurrences are simply based upon ones own beliefs and teachings? Who's to say? The book not only discusses in great detail UFO sightings, never giving a yay or nay to the truth. As for apparitions of various sorts, whether you call them ghosts, entities or Holy visions, Sironen brings many questions to your mind, helping you think of possible answers yet never giving you a complete thought on the entire idea of these seeming unnatural occurrences.
The author not only enlightens us to various happenings that are simply 'strange' but truly will make your mind think, and think hard. You will walk away scratching your head and whether you went in as a believer or non-believer of these events, you will walk away just as confused and uncertain but definitely enlightened and thinking about them. It simply makes you want more information and creates a whole new area for us to consider - Are there other life forms? Are they truly from other planets or simply something we get sightings of because of small holes in the realm we live in? Are all Holy apparitions true and if so why don't those who don't believe not seeing them in the same fashion? Is it because they see a light and think in terms of their own beliefs or is it because they aren't truly occurring? Can so many happenings all over the world be fake or is it just that somehow our own minds have become attuned to other surroundings? The questions are endless and you won't necessarily walk away with answers but you will walk away with your own thoughts.
"Ghosts, UFO's and the Blessed Mother" is excellent reading for both the believer and non-believer. Kudos Mr. Sironen, for not only opening our minds but opening our thought processes to continue questioning our surroundings!
