Reviews - What do customers think about Crossing the Line (Immigration Series #1)?
Good premise, disappointing execution Jul 11, 2008
I was really looking forward to reading this book. I'm a fan of the genre, having devoured Matt Bracken's excellent books, and expected this one to be just as good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The premise was great, the story line was exciting, the characters were well developed, the tension built nicely, and then . . .
. . . it ended. Abruptly.
It was as if the author was fast approaching a deadline and just wanted to finish the novel. It could have been so much better.
WOW!!!!!!!! Jul 1, 2008
The beginning of this book is happening now. Will tomorrow be the final part?
When I'm not at work, I read. I can't sleep without reading. Glenn's book is the best I've read in a while. The story will keep you wanting more of the Border Patrol. I want more!!!!!!!!!
WOW Mar 4, 2008
Reading books is not a normal hobby of mine, however after a friend's recommendation I starting reading Crossing the Line. I could not put the book down and I am delighted to hear of the sequel. Thank you Glenn Rambo for publishing a masterpiece!!
Scarily Real Feb 28, 2008
As an avid reader of fiction, it's not often that I come across a book with such a unique premise, presented in such a credible way. Glenn Rambo has succeeded in his book, Crossing the Line. The story is so timely it could be tomorrow's headlines. His characters are real, presented in a plausible format, yet Glenn has kept the content refreshingly inoffensive. I highly recommend this book and look forward to his next in the series, Holding the Line.
One of the best books yet... Feb 28, 2008
Wow. What a great story line and premise. This book had me turning page after page. Great characters and it's almost scary how real the book could be. It asks a lot of questions. Great read for anyone. I really enjoyed it.
