Item description for UBS 4 Greek New Testament with Greek English Dictionary, Loose-Leaf Edition by Institute for NT Textual Research Munste...

Overview
While the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece is designed for scholarly research, the Greek New Testament, 4th Revised Edition is designed for translators and students. Like NA27, this is the leading edition of the original text of the New Testament. It contains the same Greek text as NA27, differing only in some details of punctuation and paragraphing. The format of UBS4 is in several respects more user-friendly for students and translators than NA27. It has a more spacious appearance and a larger font. English subheadings assist in navigating the text for those who may be less familiar with Greek. Old Testament quotations appear in easily recognizable bold font. Synoptic parallels are clearly listed under English headings. The critical apparatus includes exegetically significant variants (fewer than NA27) but adds extensive manuscript evidence (more than NA27) for each variant, thereby offering in-depth instruction for students on how variants and the evidence for them work together. This pages-only edition makes the Greek New Testament even more affordable and user-friendly for professors and students while retaining identical content and adding space for note-taking.

Reviews - What do customers think about UBS 4 Greek New Testament with Greek English Dictionary, Loose-Leaf Edition?

Landscape two-to-a-page  Oct 3, 2008
This edition of the Greek New Testament is the authoritative version that represents the pinnacle of modern textual criticism and analysis. In other words, this version is as accurate and as close to the original as we can get until we find more early manuscripts. Five stars for the content. That said, I was very disappointed that the text is printed in landscape format, two-pages of the original on one page of this edition. That makes reading and note taking very awkward. In addition, the holes were not punched evenly, so the margin of the page is closer to the lower holes than the upper holes. The edition sits crookedly in my loose leaf binder. I will not be able to use this edition the way I had intended. Be forewarned, as nothing in this site's description of this edition indicates this fact, and you too might not get what you were expecting. One star for the format.
