Item description for Men of Character: Moses: Freeing Yourself to Know God (Men Of Character) by Gene A. Getz & Jack Graham...
Overview Under the reign of a murderous pharaoh, Moses' parents were forced to trust God for the life of their child. Years later, Moses showed this same faith in leading the Israelites out of Egypt into the land God had promised them. Though there were many conflicts in Moses' lifetime, he never allowed them to compromise his relationship with God. His submission to god and His law - regardless of the circumstances - reminds us of our duty as Christians today. It is only by faith that we will be freed from the conflicts and distractions that surround us and come to know the living God.
One in a series of twelve books by Gene Getz examining role models of the Old and New Testaments in situations relevant to modern times.

Very Good. Simply a Getz book. Everybody needs to experience a Getz book.
A Great Read on Moses Aug 12, 2007
Moses is yet another title in the wonderful "Men of Character" series written by Dr. Gene Getz in the mid-late 1990s. Getz takes the character, describes the trials and temptations he faced, and presents principles the reader should consider for applying the truths to his/her life.
Getz covers Moses' entire life, from when he was rescued by pharoah's daughter as an infant to seeing a glimpse of the Promised Land he would not be allowed to enter at the end of his life.
Read and enjoy and be encouraged in the Lord. Highly recommended!
Great Book! Applicable to todays Christian leader! Feb 25, 1998
The book gives insight to Moses life and his own struggles to be a Man of God. The book is Biblically based and shows that God has a plan for all of us and will lead us through our struggles even when our faith is the weakest if we will just honor him.
