Practical and user-friendly, this ecumenical guidebook helps all people but particularly teens to recognize and deal with painful feelings. The author shows how to identify and articulate the emotion that's being felt, offers practical and constructive ways to express the emotion, and suggests how to involve God in one's emotional life. Reviews - What do customers think about My Feelings Are Like Wild Animals: How Do I Tame Them? : A Practical Guide to Help Teens (And Former Teens) Feel and Deal With Painful Emotions?

A great resource for teens and parents (or anyone).  Jul 22, 1998
This is a great resource book for teenagers, parents and teachers dealing with feelings.

The author gives practical tips on how to cope with such feelings as anger, jealousy and guilt.

I enjoyed the illustrations and the journal questions.

A friend of mine from work said she and her 13 year old daughter were working through the book together to better understand each other.

Kids need good information and tools to deal with the pressures of today. This book helps everyone realize life can be overwhelming but we can make healthy choices in dealing with our emotions.

I wish I had this book when I was a teenager!!!
