Learning tactics within a game review format !!! Apr 5, 2008
This is fun way to review tactics along with my CT-ART 3 computer training program. This gives an intermediate chess player a new way to learn tactics within an opening for white. I purchased, "Rapid Chess Improvement", by Micheal de la Maza yet this is the missing link because you can learn an opening with tactics and really advance faster. Along with the above computer program, the format of the book gives you repetitions to drill the opening and tactics together. I do about 10 computer problems and review 5 games on my analysis chess board and I am very happy with my results. When I play games on Chessbase light and review my games I love my progress now and I am no longer getting discouraged. Now my progress consistently growing and again this book was the missing link.
