Passages are followed by multiple choice, fill in the blank, and true/false questions with a writing and discussion element at the end of the chapter. There is a final cumulative test. Grades 4-8.

All four of these volumes are excellent teaching tools. Big issues/historical events are put into wonderful two-page summaries, and are followed by review questions. It allows for real discussions and full understanding of the issues.
