Item description for The Fall of Mahkinoc: Volume I of the Shadowed of Gilead by Frank S. Wacholtz...
Overview Cidraso, inventor and director of Galleo s water department, has no idea what he is about to unleash upon everyone he loves when he pulls a small silver book from a search engine of the illustrious Galleo Library. The forbidden and inhabited technical manual from The Tower of Gilead will lead to an ill-fated scheme and set his son and two friends on the dangerous road to Gilead in the company of messengers, shadowed, and two rather unique individuals. One, a respectable and rising engineer, is framed and driven to insanity by solitary confinement and a shadowed before desperately turning to evil in hope that good will result. The other, a rogue hunter, deplores his past and has embarked upon a relentless crusade to cleanse his stained conscience. From the breathtaking imagination of Frank S. Wacholtz, this fantastical tale of guilt and innocence; a collision of technology, nature, and a vibrant spiritual realm invites the reader into the world of Choaradar, where gunpowder is illegal technology, the steam engine is yesterday s news, and armored machines shelter the souls of those too fearful or proud to face eternity.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Fall of Mahkinoc?
Short review, but good book Dec 10, 2007
As both an author and reader of fiction, I was impressed with "The Fall of Kahkinoc". Maybe it is because I have always enjoyed a book that could hold my attention and make me think at the same time. In a nutshell, the characters are believable and yet a little out of the ordinary and the story line unique. Give this book a try. The Christian fiction book that I have written main story theme is about ten years in the life of a little girl who was "chosen by God" to be the next Madonna in the second coming of Christ.
