Reviews - What do customers think about ALLIED LIBERATION VEHICLES?

A nice over view  Apr 27, 2008
The Allied effort to liberate France from German domination in WW2 involved thousands of vehicles of many different patterns and uses. Here is a nice basic look at some of the major equipment used in Europe during the war. Military vehicle collecting and restoration is still a big hobby in Europe and the majority of the photographs are restored vehicles in private collections or museums. Since the bulk of historical photographs are in black-and-white, books such as this give a chance to see what the tanks, trucks, armored cars, etc look like in color. There is basic information given for each type of equipment. The photos are clear and nicely reproduced. For the price, this book is a handy, quick reference for military history buffs, model builders or wargamers.
