Reviews - What do customers think about The Little Flowers of Saint Francis (Dover Thrift Editions)?
A delightful and soul-satisfying read Dec 19, 2006
This is a lovely book that describes in detail the life and passion of Saint Francis. It is interesting to see how Francis gave up a life of wealth and comfort---of wine , women and song, to search out life's deeper meaning. It is told in great detail and is an uplifting and sweet book. It also describes the path of Claire of Assisi, Saint Claire, and the other monks of Saint Francis' order. A delightful and soul-satisfying read. This is an incredible bargain at $4.99.
