Reviews - What do customers think about Quantity Is Job 1?

My First FIF Album  Jun 11, 2006
I borrowed this album off a friend who played a few tracks for me. I mostly hung around the opera bit which are hilarious! But then I started actualy listening to the songs. Every song on this album is fantastic! They are all in my favorites but this is my order.

#1 All That Is Good, it took time for this album to sink in as my favorite.

#2 Dandelions, this was my favorite but it got old after about 10,000 listens.

#3 Sweet Talkin Woman, brilliant cover of ELO's masterpiece

#4 The Untimely Death Of Brad, realy strange lyrics, and afterwards leavs you bewildered, the way i like it :-).

#5 One Girl Army - this is a good song, it's just overshadowed by Dandelions.

#6 Get Your Riot Gear - this track has a very swing style of music, i loved it at first but now is dated.

Amazing cd, why four stars? Well it's a shame that the number of tracks that actualy had effort put into them are few. but the opera, "When I Go Out," and the Kingdom of the Dinosours are Hilarious. This the perfect FIF newcomer album.
FIF rocks!  Mar 10, 2006
This is definitely their best album, so if you like ska or are intrigued with the idea, this is a great buy.
Best showcase of FIF's sound  Sep 3, 2005
It took Five Iron a while to figure out how to make good studio recordings, but I think this album is where they finally get it right. The energy and excitement from their live shows makes a strong showing on this album, with only a little studio degredation. Besides just being an excellent recording, some of FIF's best songs are on this album, namely One Girl Army, Dandelions, and Get Your Riot Gear. Overall, it's just an EP, but you get alot for your buck here: Good ska and a Christian band that gets it right. If you're new to FIF this is the place to start.
My favorite FiF cd!  Jan 7, 2005
I love everything on this CD.
My Evil Plan to Save the World: Great lyrics and great tune make this a instant hit. 9/10
All That is Good: I LOVE THIS SONG! It speaks so much to me. I love everything about it 10/10
Dandelions: Slower than the previous two tracks, but just as good. Great lyrics and tune make this track a winner. 9/10
One Girl Army: Another great song, the lyrical style changes dramatically once the chorus starts. 8/10
Sweet Talkin' Woman: A great Electric Light Orchestra cover. In my opinion, better than the original. 8/10
When I Go out: The first time you hear this song it will leave you confused. I had to listen to it a second time, and than I started laughing hysterically. 8/10
Get Your Riot Gear: LOVE the lyrics. The tone is very different than the rest of the cd. 9.5/10
The Untimely Death of Brad: A really good song with strange lyrics: 8/10
These Are Not My Pants(all versions): Really funny the first couple of listens, but gets old. 7/10

I love this cd. I try not to over listen it, but its so good!
I would recomend this CD to anyone who likes Five Iron Frenzy, or a first time listener.

Overall rating: 10/10
Impressed me all throughout the CD  Oct 1, 2004
I abslolutely love Five Iron Frenzy since their first cd ,Upbeats and Beatdowns, and they have always impressed me.. The only reason why I didn't give it more stars is because this one was only an EP and it had several good songs on it! The bassist I must say is also amazing and they have pulled it through all the way!
