More About F. LaGard Smith
F. LaGard Smith is a former criminal prosecutor, a career law professor, and (wearing a rather different hat) the author of some 30 books ranging from law to religion to hot-button social issues. Smith is perhaps best known as the compiler and narrator of the best-selling The Daily Bible. He and his wife live in Tennessee, Alabama, and--at every opportunity--in their cozy cottage in the English Cotswolds, where LaGard writes and Ruth nurtures the beauty of God's Creation in her quintessential English country garden.
Reviews - What do customers think about The Daily Bible® Devotional Journal: A Companion for Reading Through the Bible in One Year?
Journal? Apr 12, 2007
This book is not a good writing journal for the Daily Bible. I love my Daily Bible, however, the journal left a lot to be desired. It has the same four questions for each day of reading. There also is not a lot of room to write. I was disappointed. I will stick to the Daily Bible and a spiral notebook. Have a Great Time Reading the Daily Bible, just save yourself the money on the Journal and get a spiral notebook.
Problem Apr 3, 2007
I thought I had ordered the hardbound version of the "Daily Bible" itself. I had already received the paperback version from you and liked it so much I wanted the "bound" version. If I can, I will be returning this book and attempting to get the one I wanted in the first place. Therefore, I am not a very good reviewer!
