Reviews - What do customers think about ESV Pew & Worship Bible-Dark Red HC?
Great Little Bible for Transport in Day to Day Life! Dec 20, 2008
I discovered the ESV back in OCT of 2004, own 4 different styles, and absolutely cannot do without it. I bought the compact Bible (trutone, crown of thorns) the very day I left for basic training at Ft Benning, GA and it has never left my uniform, except for ruck marches and combat missions. I recommend this version and style for all Military personnel. It fits easily into one of your sleeve pockets on your ACUs and is inexpensive if it gets damaged and you need to replace it. Five stars, folks. Buy it.
Quality manufacturing Apr 24, 2008
Uneven margins has been a recurring complaint in reviews. However, my new edition of the Pocket New Testament has very even margins. I am glad to have a New Testament I can carry with me at all times. I read it on the subway and during my lunch break at work.
Compact, but I'd like it smaller Mar 9, 2007
I was required to order this version (ESV) for my college classes. This Bible is compact but still not small enough for me. I carry a smaller version with me and use this one for my studies in the collge dorm. It does the trick.
FONT IS TOO SMALL! Nov 12, 2006
I was expecting small font but not this small... I had to squint to read.
ESV Leather Bible Nov 6, 2006
It's the Bible. The inerrant word of God. What more can I say? The leather cover is beautiful, however the pages seem to be easy to rip. Anne
