A gifted communicator, for more than 20 years Emilie has been speaking throughout the United States and Canada teaching women creative ways to simplify their lives by getting organized. The success of her teachings created further demand, which motivated Emilie to put her much-requested survival secrets into print. She is the author of more than 60 books and the co-author of several books. Her original book, “More Hours In My Day” is in its fourth revision and has remained in print for more than 20 years. In A Journey Through Cancer, Emilie writes an autobiographical account of her diagnosis, treatment, and recovery from life-threatening cancer. Stricken with non-hodgkins lymphoma nearly five years ago, Emilie's foundation was shaken to the core. Now in recovery following a bone marrow transplant, Emilie is eager to share her story of hope, healing, and God's faithfulness. Her words offer comfort and encouragement to others suffering through illness, bereavement, job loss, or relationship struggles. Emilie speaks from the heart as she explores how to rediscover God's plan for life when your world is shaken, trust the reality of God's provision, receive joy in times of trouble, and live in hope. While in the midst of her illness, Emilie wrote two books. Safe in the Father's Hands outlines God's promises and blessings and A Cup of Hope speaks of the enduring strength of His peace and comfort.
In their new book, 101 Ways to Love Your Grandkids, Bob and Emilie encourage grandparents to create legacies of faith and love. Offering practical ideas, heartfelt prayers, and personal stories, they inspire every grandpa and grandma to pray for their grandkids, extend a listening ear, participate in activities, demonstrate unconditional love, and accept each child's uniqueness. In a second release, Everything I Know I Learned Over Tea, Emilie pours out 13 life lessons that invite women to embrace the comforts of tradition, honor the resilience of the human spirit, and celebrate the individual gifts each person brings to the table.

Reviews - What do customers think about Let's Have a Tea Party!: Special Celebrations for Little Girls?
Surprisingly informative and entertaining Jan 11, 2009
What we thought was just a regular story about tea parties turned into such a nice surprise with all of the different types of tea parties to have. My little Hannah couldn't believe that there were actual recipes for different sweets to go along with whatever theme that was being offered. (Not to mention ideas on invites and certain ways to dress!) It is most certainly an entertaining and great read for young ladies!
Gift for a 6 yr old girl Jan 8, 2009
I bought my grandniece a tea set and this book for Christmas. I told her grandmother about the gift and explained that there was a section in the book for a tea party for granny and Em. My sister was delighted with the idea. Growing up, my sister, my mother and I had a tea party at 3pm every Sat. afternoon. We even had pretend names. It's a wonderful memory.
Does anyone know of a book for both BOYS AND GIRLS??? Mar 22, 2008
I am searching for a book to teach my children how to behave at tea time. I have two boys and one girl, and cannot seem to find a book that appeals to both genders. It seems tea party books and sets are marketed for girls alone. I would love to know of a book that teaches manners in a fairy tale/ story format that appeals to ALL children.
Great book for the 8-10 year olds Dec 31, 2007
I used to own a Tea Room and this was one of the books I sold in the gift shop. There are so many wonderful themes to choose from and "how tos" so you achieve that theme. Once you get started you'll start adding your own personal touches ... we couldn't keep this book on the shelves.
Having a Tea Party is a wonderful thing for little girls - we hosted many birthday and holiday parties for young girls in the 6-12 year old age range and this was a popular book!

Tea Party Mar 27, 2007
A good book, but not as well done as some of the others.
