Item description for Walking With God Workbook by John Eldredge & Craig McConnell...
Overview Take a journey into the heart of God and discover the comforting intimacy Christians crave in their daily lives. In Walking with God John Eldredge takes you through a year in his life, showing what an intimate relationship with God looks like day to day, teaching you how our deepest longings could all find sufficient fulfillment in God's company. In this companion workbook, John goes even further, engaging you in deeper studies, showing you how to make decisions aligning with God's will and find solutions to the barriers that keep you from the life God intends. Here he provides the weapons for the spiritual battles for your own heart and for others.
We have a lot to sort through on any given day. A whole lot to navigate over the course of a week or a month. How am I going to come up with enough money to do the things I want to do? And what about love--is this the one? Why can't I overcome those "habits" that look more and more like addictions? Am I at the right church? What is God doing in my life?
All day long we are making choices. How do we know what to do?
We have two options. We can trudge through on our own, doing our best to figure it all out. Or, we can walk with God. As in, learn to hear his voice. Really. He offers to speak to us and guide us. Every day. It is an incredible offer. To accept that offer is to enter into an adventure filled with joy and risk, transformation and breakthrough. And more clarity than we ever thought possible.
Now in "A Personal Guide to Walking with God," you can get started in your personal journey to making God a part of every moment of your day. Complete with discussion questions and personal journaling space, John and Craig will lead you deeper into communion with God. Let the adventure begin.

I don't know why Mar 1, 2010
but I never could really get into this book. Each time I tried to read it the words just never sunk in and for the life of me I can't tell you what it said.

I didn't realize this was a workbook, i thought it was the book in paperback form. I intended it to be Christmas presents for a few people and that is why I bought 3. But, one of them i have started to work on and i really enjoy it. The transaction was efficient and swift, THANK YOU 4 That!
Great for Journaling Mar 14, 2009

Ordered wrong item, but what I receved was as described. Mar 8, 2009
As it turned out, I ordered the workbook instead of the text. The workbook arrived in a timely manner and was as described in ad. Good service and prompt.
Great Book Mar 4, 2009
I love this book. I would recommend it with Joyce Meyer's "The Battlefield of the Mind." Both books helped me to understand how to conduct my mind and walk in the battle. They go together great.
