Love the instructions and explanations even if you have been knitting for quite some time this is a great book. The design ideas are also wonderful.
The Knitting Experience: Book 3: Color Nov 21, 2007
I purchased this book after seeing a lady in the airport, who was wearing the exact sweater on the cover of the book. She was kind enough to give me the book name and I ordered it that day. I must make this sweater!! After receiving the book, there is a lot more knitting information included along with some wonderful "color" patterns. Well worth the price!
Color, the next frontier May 12, 2007
I gave this book to my daughter for her birthday. She is a beginner. She liked it and was eager to get started. Melville's style makes it easy.
Knitting with Color Nov 5, 2006
Wonderful book! For those of us a bit timid to work with more than one color, this is a book for you. And for those of us already working with more than one color, a marvelous book with hints we can all use. I recommend this book. It is a delight.
Another great book by Sally Melville Mar 29, 2006
I love Sally's Knit (book 1) and Purl (book 2), so it seemed only right to buy this one too! It is a beautiful books with great illustrations and patterns, but dare I say a little advanced for this newbie knitter, so for now, it sits on my bookshelf until I feel competent enough to tackle one of the many projects.
