INSPIRING STORY!!! Feb 11, 2009
A total inspiration. Where there is a will, there is a way!!! Elaine found the way to battle cancer and in her own words, SO CAN YOU!!!
Must read for cancer patients Aug 14, 2008
I read this book in one setting....I just couldn't put it down. If you have cancer or know and care about someone who does, you may also become captivated and not be able to put it down. It is so important to look at all your options when traveling on the road back to health. Thank you, Elaine, for sharing your story....it means so much to so many people. There is alot to be learned from your attitude and determination. You were so smart to open your mind to alternative treatments....especially, Protocel.
Confusion Aug 4, 2008
Having two close friends who overcame a cancer diagnosis with Protocel, and two who are currently using Protocel, I tell many people about PROTOCEL. I look for Protocel stories, so I was encouraged that the author had a 'miraculous recovery.' BUT this book was very hard for me to finish. It is full of errors, coarse humor, confusing and incongruent. The author says all through her story how powerful chemo is, but is very skeptical about what Protocel is doing - until the very end, where she says it was God and Protocel that saved her!!
The author makes a very strong case for using a lot of chemo drugs with Protocel, when it is common knowledge that, as a rule, Protocel doesn't work well when you use chemo with it. Maybe her case is the exception, but she never says that. Letting people think it's OK and even good to use chemo without explaining there is another side to it is very misleading. Many people having read this book will be tempted to use chemo with Protocel and, in my estimation, that makes this book dangerous.
The author also emphasizes how wonderful she felt on Protocel, but doesn't caution people that they may not feel wonderful. If people don't feel that great when they start taking Protocel, they may think it isn't good for them and it could cause some to quit taking it when, in fact, it really is working for them.
There is also a strange, misleading write up at the end of the book by a man from Australia. He says the way to eat when you take Protocel is no meat, no fat, no fruit, especially bananas and watermelon, but he drinks fresh squeezed orange juice every day and a glass of lemon juice to boot. None of this is good advice. He believes he's not seeing much lysing (i.e. cancer cells dying) because of a great detox program he performed before he started Protocel. Now wait just a minute here, the author of the book says early on in the book that Vitamin C will STOP Protocel from working. What's more, this man's cancer was at Stage IV and he was only on Protocel ONE MONTH when he wrote this in 2006. I had to read it twice to be sure I read it right because I couldn't believe this story was in the book.
It's true, the author is a walking miracle, but it doesn't excuse her from being negligent about providing thorough information on such a serious topic. It is not a good book for people who want to learn about Protocel and I would never recommend it to anyone.
Inspiration To Fight On Jul 14, 2008
This book is a must read for anyone who is fighting cancer. It is inspiring and will relight the fire in you to fight on and win. This gives you the determination to fight on when you are written off by so many people in and out of the medical profession. Elaine, I am so glad you wrote this book. But before you wrote it you inspired my wife Earlene to fight on. And I hope many others will find the courage in your book to fight on and live as you did.
Take the time to Read this Book! Jun 30, 2008
Cancer is a serious subject, yet Elaine Hulliberger managed to write about it in a way that makes you laugh as well as cry. This book is an honest & straight-forward account of Elaine's experience with cancer and the sad (but not uncommon) fact that many of her doctors really didn't care and treated her as "less than human."
Elaine has a good sense of humor, the book is well written, and you will be taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The good news is that due to Protocel (and the LORD), Elaine beat the odds and lived to tell her story.
Buy this book. The information it contains is priceless.
