This really is an excellent French/English dictionary. The dictionary has detailed pictures showing parts of mechanical items, computers, etc with full detail in both French and English. In addition, this book has sample letters (both formal and informal), providing explanation on layout and so on. This really is an excellent text for anybody who is studying French to a business level

This is a good dictionary for students in upper or lower level French courses. It's a huge dictionary, so if you are looking for something to carry around this may not be right for you. It is thorough, and excellent for an at home dictionary.

A friend purchased this very same dictionary in Canada. When I saw it, I absolutely had to have one, and found it on this site.com. The only thing that differentiates these two dictionaries is the cover. This Larousse contains 400,000 translations and lists all the different usages of a word, with each usage followed by a sample phrase. It is a great source of information and I highly recommend it.
