Reviews - What do customers think about Earl Nightingale's The Strangest Secret?

common sense  Jul 8, 2008
it is strange that anyone would believe the message behind this book is a secret.
Earl Nightingale's "The Strangest Secret"  May 14, 2008
I first encountered Earl Nightingale over 3o0 years ago near the beginning of my career as a U, Methodist pastor. His insights informed the practical application of Jesus' teachings in my sermon and teaching and living example. In a day of instant gratification obsession, THE STRANGEST SECRET ought to be required, repeated reading for anyone who would aspire to make their life count for others and self.
simple and powerful!  Jan 1, 2008
The most amazing characteristic of this text is the clarity with which it is written. I have read hundreds of motivational books, and this might be the shortest and clearest one on the topic of setting goals and living mindfully. A true classic! No wonder that the LP that this book is a transcript of received a Golden Record award, indicating that over 1 million copies were sold. I highly recommend also buying the CD and listening to it at least once every month!
Earl Nightingale's The Strangest Secret  Aug 25, 2007
The recording of The Strangest Secret is a true classic, and has long been a favorite of mine. This book is a word for word text version of that recording, and I am highly delighted with its publication. I bought two copies, one for my "favorite" book collection, and one for my granddaughter - I hope she reads it (perhaps the batteries will run down on her IPod someday.) The wisdom in this book can be a poistive life changing force. Buy it! Maybe someone you love will pick it up some day.
book review  May 6, 2007
For anyone who is on their journey to consciousness and discovery of "inner self", this is a must read. It is straight forward and beautifully written. This book originally came out in the 1950's (well before "The Secret") and still rings true even in today's tumultuous society.
