Item description for Oh, the Places You'll Go! (Classic Seuss) by Dr Seuss...
Overview Advice in rhyme for proceeding in life; weathering fear, loneliness, and confusion; and being in charge of your actions
A perennial favorite, Dr. Seuss's wonderfully wise graduation speech is the perfect send-off for children starting out in the world, be they nursery school, high school, or college grads From soaring to high heights and seeing great sights to being left in a Lurch on a prickle-ly perch, Dr. Seuss addresses life's ups and downs with his trademark humorous verse and illustrations, while encouraging readers to find the success that lies within. In a starred review, "Booklist" notes: "Seuss's message is simple but never sappy: life may be a 'Great Balancing Act, ' but through it all 'There's fun to be done.'"

Wonderful Jul 20, 2007
Although many people have given this book as a graduation present, I gave it to a former college roommate who was having a difficult time finding a job in her field. She was very discouraged and was thinking about going back to school and getting a different degree. I actually forgot I gave her this book but she reminded me years later saying it was very inspriational.

Great Book for a recent graduate. Our speaker for our High School Grads Dinner at our church gave each graduate one and they were all thrilled with it and enjoyed it very much.
I bought it for a friend's daughter who graduated from college and she also enjoyed it. I will continue to give it to graduates in the future.
Dr. Suess is ageless and for all ages.
I love this book! Jul 8, 2007
This is a fabulous book for any type of graduation gift. I recently purchased several copies as gifts for my class of graduating special-needs Preschoolers. Through their love of books, I hope that each child will remember me every time they turn the page!
Best Graduation gift ever Jul 5, 2007
I have purchased this book several times in the past for the High School graduates who are graduating out of my Sr. Hi. Sunday School Class. It is always greatly enjoyed. Thanks.
