Overview SHAME: Identity Thief is a book full of powerful revelation, Biblical insights and personal experience tracing the causes, characteristics and cure for shame.

I willingly accepted that I did wrong because somehow, I was wrong. I did not make a mistake; I was a mistake. Life then became a task to do rather than a journey to enjoy. I had bought into the lie. As you read SHAME: Identity Thief, you will find the principles that will give you the keys to unlock and break free from shame. You will then be able to enjoy living in the light - living without a mask."

Couldn't finish Mar 15, 2009
I rarely stop reading a book before I am finished, but I am having a very hard time finishing this one. When I came across the part about how a baby can be shamed in the womb and as it is being born if the family is present, I thought hmmmm, but continued on. Halfway through the book, there is little information to help me and not much I didn't already know. I found the book to be repetitive with a very choppy writing style. In one paragraph there would be 3 different subjects being addressed. Did anyone proofread this??
Shame; the identity thief Sep 26, 2008
This book is short and to the point on the subject of shame. It's amazing how we wear it so easily, but it does not look good on. This book exposes the lie that it is, and that we don't need to continue to accept it as a way of living.
heal your shame Apr 26, 2008
Thia book is an excellent resource to help you indentify what shame is and then how to deal with it so your identify can be healed. Having a healed identify becomes the launching pad for us to step into our God-given destiny. This book masterfully, yet simply does all of the above. Most of my friends who borrow the book, don't give it back so I have to buy multiple copies. That's how good it is!
Shame, the identity thief Nov 12, 2007
I read a lot of books on self help with scripture refences and this one is well written and easy to read. The author has done his research and his format is memorable and thought provoking. I read the one at the library, so I plan to order a copy for myself to write in for future references.......happy gleaning, love k
