Item description for Leading in Times Of Change: Book 4 (Beeson Pastoral Series) by Dale E. Galloway...
Overview Have you ever heard it said that insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results? Many church leaders know change is needed. They remain stagnant because they don't know how to initiate the change. Realizing the need for transition isn't enough, though; you need to know how to introduce it. Or maybe your church is already in the midst of transition, and the congregation is looking to you for leadership in uncertain days. A Boeing 747 can bank 33 degrees and the passengers may not even notice. At 45 degrees, a few travelers may become a little jittery. At 90 degrees, everybody on board knows something's wrong, but it's too late for anyone to do anything about it. Leading In Times Of Change helps you learn to bank the change in your church at 33 degrees. Proven change agents in this volume include Dale Galloway, John Maxwell, Elmer Towns, Mike Breaux, William Hinson, Gene Appel, and Jim Garlow. Whether your transition is a staff change, a church relocation, or a change in worship styles, this team shows you how to approach it positively, as an opportunity to bring about growth in the church.
