Item description for The Mark of the Antichrist Revealed by Charles S. Ruark, Jr....
What if you knew the answers to questions that others have struggled with for centuries? How do you calculate the number of the Beast? What will the mark of the Beast actually look like? How will the end-time prophecies truly unfold? After 2000 years and innumerable volumes of written speculation the famed mark of the Beast, prophesied in the 66th book of the Bible, The Revelation To John, has remained a mystery...until now. Utilizing the number of the Beast which is the number "666," the symbol of the Beast has been revealed and you'll find it in this book. "The Mark of the Antichrist Revealed," the sophomore project of Dr. Charles Ruark, offers this earth-shaking revelation and a new Biblically sound historically accurate interpretation of end-time prophecies based on simple information theory. This remarkable work also explains in pictorial form how the books of Daniel and Revelation are beautifully intertwined by an all-knowing Creator. "The Mark of the Antichrist Revealed" features a Foreword by Daniel L. Black, Th.D., Editor-Writer of Adult Sunday School Literature, Pathway Press. It contains twenty-six full page color illustrations, a meticulously researched historical compilation of world events, and a comprehensive Glossary of Terms as well as Subject Index. It gives a full description of how to calculate (or count) the number of the Beast from his given number, "666." It explains how to produce the mark of the Beast. See the actual Mark. Learn of the Unicode. Understand the end-times. "The Mark of the Antichrist Revealed" is the definitive work concerning the world's most famous number, the number "666."

Reviews - What do customers think about The Mark of the Antichrist Revealed?
Actually Two Reviews...International IT Guy and mine ... Mar 15, 2008
When I read the first page of the Introduction to the Mark of the Antichrist Revealed, I became deeply intrigued with how prophetic interpretation might be connected with basic information theory. I also became interested in how Dr. Charles Ruark had determined what the Mark of the Beast might look like. I am a Christian who has often studied and contemplated the specifics of prophecy found in the books of Daniel and Revelation. I am also an entrepreneur who has a background working in the development of sophisticated computer based broadcast communications products. I have had years of formal training in computing theory and computer related applications. When I learned of Dr. Ruark's suggestion that the Unicode might be connected to the Mark of the Beast, I became curious as to how such a connection made sense. I have long known about the Unicode and its importance to my company and our ability to do business on a global basis. If you are going to provide computer based solutions to people who speak, read, and write different languages, you must have a way to help manipulate text and characters expressed in different writing systems. In another words, you must have a basis to determine how text and characters get interpreted from one language to the next. The Unicode provides such a basis, and it is used all over the world. I don't find it surprising that the Unicode has a symbol that represents the number 666 (029A, hexadecimal), because the Unicode provides symbols for many other combinations of numbers. What is striking to me is that the symbol that is identified as Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon, is in fact a symbol that has been codified by the International Phonetic Association and included in its Phonetic Symbol Guide (an important reference used by many linguists) even though the symbol has no current use. Due to a typographical error, the IPA mistakenly approved the symbol for inclusion in its guide instead of approving the Closed Reversed Epsilon (which it meant to do). Basically, you can say that the development of Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon is a mistake, so it should not even be in the IPA's guide. Yet it is, so it has been included into the Unicode. What are the odds of that? Why didn't that happen to some other symbol - one not associated with the number 666? Why did it happen with a symbol that is connected through the Unicode to a number that Revelation associates with events that will someday change the world? I can not say that the Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon is the Mark of the Beast, but it could be. It is a simple symbol, much like the Dollar sign ($) or the Euro symbol () that could in time, easily be recognized world wide. What's more, like the Dollar sign and the Euro symbol, the Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon is already embedded in most all computing platforms. However, it is the only symbol embedded into computing platforms that is equal to 666. Over the years I have heard it discussed that President Ronald Reagan, The Pope, Adolf Hitler, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Bill Gates were all in some way connected to the Mark of the Beast or the Antichrist. None of these people have in any reasonable way been associated with the number 666 through use of a mathematical calculation based on a world wide accepted standard. Dr. Ruark does not state that any particular person known today is associated with the number 666. He simply recognizes that the Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon, represented in the Unicode and associated with 029A (hex or base 16), can be mathematically calculated to be equal to the number 666. He states that since the symbol identified as Latin Small Letter Closed Epsilon can be calculated as scripture indicates, and since it is already inherent in most all computing systems, then it might be the symbol that rises to prominence in the information age as the Mark of the Beast. His position relating to what the Mark might actually look like makes more sense than anything else that I have ever heard. If you are interested in the prophetic events, then read Dr. Ruark's book. His supposition related to how the fulfillment of prophecy will take place in the information age will give you much to consider. Ron Johnson, Vice-President Adtec Digital in Nashville, TN
Review #2 It was eye opening and life-changing...
As a voracious reader, I spend most of my spare time between the pages of Maxwell, Blanchard, Covey and others. None compare with the incredible wordsmiths of the Bible. The Bible offers an incredible picture of things that were, are and still to come but I need an ancillary piece to pull it all together. Dr. Ruark's book removes the mystery from two of the more prophetic books, (The Book of Daniel and The Revelation to John), of the Bible by framing them historically and then using simple logic to bring the events of these books into view. I would liken it to the first time I put on a pair of glasses when I was twelve after quietly struggling with vision problems most of my life. Finally, clarity. Definition. Context. Knowledge. This book not only reveals what I believe is the actual mark of the beast (an incredible discovery in and of itself!!!), but the significance of it. The Mark of the Beast Revealed breaks down the prophecy of the two and also offers well-illustrated pictures to close the learning gap. In short this book removes a lot of the mystery, confirming yet again that there is an almighty God. He has a plan. It is in motion and we win in the end. What could be more comforting? I think everyone should buy this book, read it and then live your life without fear.
