Reviews - What do customers think about The 7 Principles of an Evangelistic Life?
Nailed It! Jun 29, 2004
As I first got into this book, I feared that it would be filled with good illustrations but not tackle the scriptural issues I wanted to know about Evangelism...I was wrong.
The book is interesting the whole way through, and clearly articulates the points without redundancy. I have been seriously thinking about evangelism for a few years now, and if I would have asked someone to write a book on evangelism with the questions that I had, this is what it would have been about.
The way each chapter was set up was great, the story at the beginning, the conclusion at the end. The introduction was powerful, it is not about you, it is about God! We are his instruments. Cecil combated the current-day trend of choosing personal evangelistic "styles." He eased the fears of readers early on when he spoke of our dependency on Christ, and how we were created that way, and it is not a bad thing.
