Item description for The Young Genius, A Novel of Enlightenment by Dorian Wells...

Rachael Noles, a painter and a poet, is both happily married to a man she loves and content with the life she has. Or is she? One day, a young student named Cabot comes into her life. A painter and a poet himself, Cabot is immediately charming and facinates Rachael. Wanting so badly to turn Cabot into a successful artist, Rachel is shocked that Cabot is getting in with the wrong crowd. Their intense relationship becomes an obsession for her, as she tries to understand this gifted, yet strange young man. The Young Genius is a poignant exploration of one woman's quest to make sense of an ever-changing world and her place in it.

Reviews - What do customers think about The Young Genius, A Novel of Enlightenment?

genius  Feb 14, 2008
Dorian Wells via Rachael pulled me into a fascinating world and relationship which truly is an obsession. Set in the art world of the sixties, it is a world in which the main character is struggling to keep the people in her world as she visualizes them, and yet is fascinated with the strange, tumultuous, unknown society and people into which she is being pulled.
