Reviews - What do customers think about Live Aware, Not in Fear: The 411 After 9-11, A Book for Teens?
Serves its purpose Jun 17, 2002
The writing is clear and not scary, full of down to earth suggestions for taking care of yourself (even though no one knows what to expect). A good YA book that lets teens know adults are aware of their concerns.
But the cover art--yuck. The boy is in an ordinary, confident pose, the girl posturing as if from a music video. One would think that when the Arabs come, we don't need to worry, because we can get our teen aged girls to seduce them.
