Reviews - What do customers think about Magee's Blue #3?

Magee's a good read  Dec 11, 2000
I really enjoyed this book. It is an interesting tale told well with consistent voice, good control of tempo throughout, and intriguing characters.

The story did a good job of capturing the mood of small towns in the US in the early '70s. There were a couple of points that I was laughing out loud.

I don't ordinarily care for "coming of age" stories, but I must say this was a good one. There were thoughtful points that gave me pause to consider. As the story unfolded it was easy to develop a strong empathy with Magee. For several days after I finished the book, I caught myself wondering what would happen next.

Pick up this book. It's worth your time.

Exceptionally well written, "reader friendly" novel.  Apr 4, 2000
