Reviews - What do customers think about And These Three Remain?
Mistaken identity, not Pride and Predjudice Oct 26, 2005
I bought this book thinking it was the third in the series by Pamela Aidan. It would seem that many others did also, as the Aidan books are a recap of the Jane Austen book Pride and Predjudice, and yet under the note of buyers other purchases, there were all Jane Austen books! I really have nothing to say about this book, unfortunately, as I haven't read it yet. Just thought I should warn the public that it has nothing to do with Jane Austen.
This book is a must read! Oct 30, 2003
In "And These Three Remain," Donald Odland tells an incredible tale about life during the Great Depression and World War II. His quick wit, surprising humor, and good old-fashioned storytelling style make you feel as if you're sitting next to the fireplace, listening to his gentle voice in person. His words comfort the heart and soothe the soul. Reading this book, you can't help but feel a deep connection with Donald, who so brilliantly narrates the story of his incredible life of faith, hope, and love. This book is a must read for any who hold faith and family dear. It is sure to make you laugh, cry, and reflect on what's truly important in life. This book verifies that a great life is not reflected by fame and fortune, but rather in service and love. "And These Three Remain" is an inspiration!
