Reviews - What do customers think about Tractor (Things That Go Board Books)?
We Could Take It or Leave It Jun 16, 2007
The book is a sturdy board book. It has tractors on every page and is cut in the shape of a tractor.
The content is very simple, and (in my opinion) not that interesting. The tractors look the same on every page. There is no story line. This is just a book that tells the reader a little bit about tractors.
We bought it because it is a board book thinking that a board book would be for little kids. My son, who LOVES tractors is not that interested in it either. He is only two years old, though. I think the content of this book is geared toward a child who is a little older.
Cute book! Jan 16, 2007
My son loves the bright tractor photos (he is very into trucks and vehicles) and I like the artful way the text is displayed as it wraps around the different images. It is a simple book, though...not much of a story, but we point out all the different things on the tractors and talk about the colors of the different vehicles and what they all do. The book is also cut to the shape of the tractor which is a fun touch!
Fell apart quickly Jan 14, 2007
I have bought several children's books from this publisher, and they have all been great. This particular book, however, fell apart very quickly. My son is pretty easy on books, so it was surprising. Other tractor-themed books might be a better choice for your money.
LITTLE TRACTOR LOVERS Nov 15, 2000
I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 1 YR OLD SON. HE IS NOW 2 YRS. OLD. HE IS OBSESSED WITH TRACTORS! HIS EYES LIT UP AND HOLLERED TRACTOR WHEN HE SAW IT. HE SITS AND LOOKS AND ALL THE PICTURES. HE LOVES THIS BOOK. IF YOUR CHILD LIKES TRACTORS THIS BOOK IS A MUST! THE ONLY DOWNFALL FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN IS THE BOOK SEEMS TO BEND EASILY IN THE MIDDLE. OF COURSE, THIS COULD BE DUE TO HOW MUCH HE READS IT.
