Reviews - What do customers think about Touch and Feel: ABC?
Pretty Good Aug 20, 2007
My 14 month old son loves the touch and feel books. We have all the animal ones and the Bath one. This one isn't quite as good as some of the others but he still enjoys it. I wouldn't use this to teach the alphabet, since most of the letters don't get highlighted, but little kids will still love touching the pages.
Not as good as other Touch & Feel titles May 5, 2001
If you have several other Touch & Feel books, then you've already experienced all this book has to offer. Textures can all be found in other books. The book gives a word for every letter of the alphabet and one word on every page has a texture. The words they picked are unimaginative and the pictures are rather bland. I can't imagine why they picked some of the word/texture combinations they did. "Feel the soft clown's hat" are the words that go with a blue flannel triangle. If the book didn't tell me it was supposed to be a clown's hat, I would have never guessed. I would have spent hours wondering "triangle doesn't start with H, blue doesn't start with H, what is this?" If you've never seen any of the other Touch & Feel books, you might enjoy it, but I would highly recommend buying a different (or several different) Touch and Feel titles. "On the Farm," "Wild Animals" and "1,2,3" are all very enjoyable and much better than this particular title.

My two children love this book. The textures are great. Each letter of the alphabet depicts objects that my children have seen.
