Reviews - What do customers think about Baby Colors (Soft-to-Touch Books)?
Confusing. Could be much better. Apr 21, 2008
My one year old daughter really enjoyed looking at the babies in this book when we received it, though she became bored with it after a couple of weeks. Here is what I don't like: The purpose is to teach colors, but the colors are confusing on two pages. On the red page, the little girl is wearing a pink jumper over a mauve outfit. The only truly red thing in the picture is the strawberry. On the pink page, the dress has yellow, orange and red flowers on it. Another confusing aspect is that on the green page, a leaf is the highlighted object , but the little boy is not holding a leaf. For every other color there is a highlighted object, and the baby displays that object in some way, but they are inconsistent with the green. If your child loves to look at pictures of babies, you may want to buy this book, but if you want to teach your child colors and show him/her consistency, you can do a better job making this book yourself.
A Teacher in a Book Mar 12, 2008
This book literally taught my daughter all of her colors. I highly recommend it to anyone teaching colors or just to have reading-time with your child.
Great learning book Jul 12, 2007
I purchased this book for my 10 month old son, who now knows colors!! He can now find colors not only in the book, but everywhere. He loves the vibrant colors and babies displayed in the book. I would highly recommed this book!!
My baby loves it! Jan 5, 2007
My baby (now 14 months old) loves this book and the other "Baby Faces." He opens the pages and points to the babies and smiles. This book is actually better because of all of the little colorful objects-it allows for translation as well (pointing to objects and identifying them).
great for first words Aug 21, 2006
These books are vibrant and simple enough to teach young babies objects. My son loved them and I always give them as gifts.
