More About Marietta Davis
Born in 1823, Marietta Davis was only twenty-five years old when she fell into a deep sleep for nine days while her spirit visited the eternal world. Upon her return to consciousness, she put her spiritual vision into words--a vision of heaven and hell that we have today in the form of "Caught Up into Heaven." She died seven months after her vision, just as she had predicted. Her departure was marked by her singing a hymn with her family; by the hymn's end she had passed on. The hymn that began with her friends on earth undoubtedly concluded with the angels in heaven. She died in 1848.Marietta lived with her mother and sisters in Berlin, New York, where they attended a Baptist church.
Reviews - What do customers think about Caught Up Into Heaven?
Excellent book Jul 18, 2000
Magnificient descriptions of some realities of Heaven. This revelation of Heaven given to the young Marietta also contains an impressing description of the work of Jesus on the cross and the spiritual realities involved. This reading is a real blessing and needs to be rediscovered.
Life after Dying May 9, 2000
Found book to be very comforting; especially for those who have lost loved ones (especially infants and children). If you are interested in knowing what happens when we die or what heaven is like, I recommend this book. This book was similar to "Divine Revelation of Heaven" but not as in depth.
