A beautiful book Apr 24, 2008
This is a beautiful book! My only problem with it is it is a bit fragile so the kids can only look at it with my assistance. Unfortunately by the time the kids are old enough to handle it they will be way past learning the alphabet!
a book that is constandly used Dec 30, 2007
My young 21 month loves this book. The first time he looked through it (before I read it) he dropped raisins in the pockets for the animals. We sound out the name of each letter, then say the name of the animal. This is the first books he picks up in his room even though he has many books. He tries hard to keep up with an older homeschooled brother and sister.
best ABC book Nov 17, 2007
This book, and its number companion will be ones to be passed down through generations. Its amazing, even for adults!!
the best ABC book we own! May 8, 2007
I bought this book for my 2-year-old son, and he loves it. While it is definitely a book that requires supervision, it has withstood lots of "opening-and-closing" action. Each little square hides a tiny, colorful animal surprise that he hasn't tired of. We like this book so much we've purchased it for several of my son's friends for their birthdays.
A quality book Jul 9, 2005
A great book for children learning to grasp the familiarity and phonetics of the alphabet. I had been recommended this book by a relative. All her children learnt from it, and loved it. My son loves it and it is proving very sturdy from his eager hands. It is a quality well made book and I would recommend it highly.
