Item description for The Latter Rain: Messages of Hope Unto a World God Has Not Forgotten by David Nix...
'The days of the latter rain shall soon be upon you. Sin has separated man from me, but my Son, your Savior and King, has removed the sin which stopped the former rain, and his righteousness is as a great cloud of glory. The rain of his glory shall soon fall upon my chosen ones. You shall see miracles, signs and wonders such as the world has never seen. Lift up thy hands, pray for the cloud of his glory to come unto you, and drop the heavenly rain upon you. Wash your robes in his blood. Repent and prepare for my Son desires to let the rain fall.' The above quote is not taken from the Bible, but these words are about The Latter Rain, words from the Almighty God. This book is full of messages from the Almighty God and his Son, and they will change your life. Go on an incredible journey as seen through the eyes of a man who had an encounter with God that has forever changed his life. The encounter with God you will experience through the words of The Latter Rain will forever change your life as well. Prepare to cry, laugh, sing, lift hands, and declare your love for the Almighty God and his Son, as you embark on a journey into the tenderness and love of a God who truly has not forgotten the people of this earth.

MORE BORING THAN THE KORAN Jul 4, 2009
A friend of mine recently read the Koran. He did this so that he could bear first hand witness to this holy book. His report: this was the most boring and hard to read book that he has ever read. It was enough to turn one to strong prescription drugs.
Later this friend read David Nix's book "The Latter Rain" and it turned out that the Koran was no longer number one. Dave's book is so boring and repetitious that it is the way for those who need a way to gain the gift of sleep. This book is a much cheaper way to attain a sleep aid, and thank you Mr. Nix.
God speaking to David almost daily is utterly ridiculous. He didn't speak very long to Moses, and according to the New Testament, He never spoke to Jesus. This book is a sham. Don't bother buying this fraud.
The definative guide for living for God in this world filled with darkness. Aug 16, 2008
From the cover picture taken from a sculpture by Julie Martin, through the last page, this book is beautiful. It paves the way for the beautiful words that follow, and sets the stage for the picture of love and mercy that flows from both Father and Son. I believe this book to be the words spoken by God and His Son, and written by David Nix.The words, the knowledge, the information of things beyond our wildest imaginations, I believe are proof that we are seeing here a step by step guide to living as God wants us to. He gives us up front the things He desires to see and the things that He does not desire to see. His love, and mercy, and that of His Precious Son come across repeatedly. He is giving us a how to manual for the last days of life as we know it. Everyday the news is filled with disaster after disaster, and in my opinion it is only going to become worse as the end of time plays out. And "The Latter Rain" falls upon us, you can stand by and watch as the age old battle plays out or choose to take action. The end is inevitable, but as darkness overtakes the world there are those that think the dark can win. But for those select few who choose to follow His guide, and learn to walk in the Light of His Love and Mercy, there is the promised reward, of being one of God's people. His Chosen, here is the road map, at the end of which lies the the promised relationship with God and His Son Jesus, who truly died that we might live, for eternity. God is ever merciful, ever loving, as is His Son, all will at times, fail, but all will be forgiven, you have only to ask, Their forgiveness, and it is given. I know what I am going to do. I want to be one of Gods chosen. Should it be His will I want to stay the course, and be greatly privileged to see Jesus come in clouds of Glory. I can hardly wait for the end of the story.
