As President of Spring Arbor University, Seattle Pacific University, and Asbury Theological Seminary, he brought biblical vision, academic stature, and creative change to those institutions. McKenna is the author of 25 books ranging from Bible commentaries to reflections on contemporary issues. His latest book is entitled Never Blink in a Hailstorm and Other Lessons of Leadership. He and his wife, Janet, live in Kirkland, Washington.
