Reviews - What do customers think about Your Way with God's Word?
Book review May 17, 2005
"Your Way With God's Word" is the perfect read for anyone, lay or professional, who intends to preach or who preaches. The book asks the reader thought-provoking questions regarding the reader's journey to the place of desiring to preach or of preaching. All of these questions, answered in written exercises, paint a picture of the new or seasonsed preacher. This picture helps the preacher to understand who he/she is and what he/she brings to the art of preaching God's word.
Along with the questions, are homiletical meditations which bring many more remarkable insights to the preacher. This read requires the reader to allow breaktime (including rest, recreation, and prayer space) between each chapter. Each chapter prepares the reader for the defining questions that lead the reader to find his/her personal preaching voice. The reader's preaching voice will, after reading this book, be fully authentic and resonate full knowledge of the art of preaching.
