Reviews - What do customers think about A Gaggle of Geese and a Clutter of Cats (Dandilion Rhymes)?
not as expected Mar 16, 2010
I bought two of these, sending one to my 3 year old grandson, and the other to a 3 year old friend's son. When I visited my grandson, I asked to read the book I sent him, and found it disappointing. Grandma stumbled over the rhymes and phrases. I was also surprised by the religious overtones. Now that I go back and reread the description, I can see the mention, but my bad for not catching it before ordering the books.
One of MANY great books from Dandi Nov 16, 2009
I can't say enough good things about Dandi Daley Mackall. I discovered her books when my son was very young and even now, if you would ask him to pick his favorite books they would most likely all be hers, and A Gaggle of Geese does not disappoint. The rhymes never seem forced and flow so effortlessly that my 2 year old son was able to "read" most of the book to me by the 4th or 5th time we read it.
