Simple overview of biblical texts Jan 19, 2007
This is a good entry level book to study more about the Bible. His methods are simple and easy to understand. His survey of the texts and introducing the reader to different writing styles helps anyone to gain a deeper knowledge of the texts.
This is written from a Mennonite perspective, and it shows. That is not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. I would recommend this text to someone who wants to study more about the Bible with a basic level of understanding. This is not a difficult text and will help those who know very little about the background of biblical texts.
