This is a great book - check it out! Jul 28, 1999
I am the author, David R. Brehm, I would love to hear from you. If you have used my book in your ministry or prayer group (with children or with adults) please give me your feedback - your experiences are important to me. I am open to any and all ideas and comments.
There is 23 years of experience in these pages and each week has been refinded by the students themselves;in other words, it is kid tested!
Please give my your feed back - Cycle B is in production and will be out soon, if it has not alreay been released. Cycle C is ready and heading for production.
With the three year cycle, A,B,and C you will have years of exciting activities to help bring God's word to the children.
This Book is great for home study families, Children's Liturgy of the Word, retreats, family nights gathering, weekly religious faith formation gatherings, and I have been told that many adult groups are also using Celebrate the Sunday Readings as a supplemental text for small group sharing.
May God continue to bless you, your family, and your ministry.
In that love which is Jesus,
David R. Brehm
Nice Job! Easy to read and use - Great Resource Book! Dec 12, 1998
I am a professional teacher and I love this book. I found it easy to read and use. But the best part is that my students love it. Celebrate the Sunday reads really does bring the Bible lession alive for the children to understand. The activities run themselves and reflections questions assist in making the lession tangable to the students. I high recommend this resource book, Celebrate the Sunday reads, to all who teach or use the Bible.
