	BUYER BEWARE. MAJOR MISQUOTES  Sep 30, 2007
Warning. Several quotes in this documentary will insult your intelligence and are outright lies. It's shameful. Example: The documentary says that Pope Urban II sent the Crusaders out to massacre the Jews under the Banner of the Cross. Yes, the Pope had many massacred, but they were not Jews. They were the Muslims. The quote which the video-author uses to support that Christians massacred Jews is the following one by Pope Urban: "Start upon the road to the Holy Sepulchre to wrest that land from the wicked race and subject it to yourselves." The video-author has the audacity to state that the "wicked race" the Pope spoke of was the Jews. Wrong. That quote does not refer to the Jews. Rather, the Muslims! This is well known in both religious and secular contexts. It is a historical fact that the inception of the first Crusade was NOT against the Jews. It IS fact that Alexius I appealed to Pope Urban II for help. Alexius I asked for mercenaries to help him resist MUSLIM advances into his Byzantine Empire. The Pope did. It's amazing to me that a Christian would lie on a video about historical facts. Did the author not think that the viewers were intelligent enough to either recall history class or research the material? It's ridiculous. The author bends the historical data throughout.

I've never bothered to fill in one of these before but this propaganda is so bad i had to warn others not to waste their money. This is one of the worst documentaries that i have ever seen. This dude has his head so far up Judaism and fundamentalist christianity that he ends up coming across as a sales rep for one of the mentioned. His views are so one sided and narrow im suprised that he can tie his own shoe laces. waste of money, dont aid more of this crap dont buy it.
	Excellent Documentary on Defective Discs  Aug 8, 2007
It is unfortunate that this most excellent documentary seems to have been taped on, what appears to be, faulty discs. The movie freeze-frames towards the end of the presentation. The original version of this film did the same thing. I played the discs on two different DVD's. It did the same thing on both machines. None of my other DVD's do this; only these two documentaries. Therefore, I would advise potential customers to be aware of this problem when considering their purchases. It is such a shame! Because this is one of the best documentaries on the subject I have ever seen.

If people thought this DVD was interesting, they will be blown away by Eugene Jarecki's DVD "Why We Fight" which features footage from General Dwight D. Eisenhower who said: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hope of its children . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron."

An interesting perspective on the Middle East realities, definitely worth watching. A wake up call from political correctness, hopefully to be heeded.
