Item description for D-Day for America by Dana G. Smith...
Overview From the Asians walking across the land bridge from Russia to Alaska some 30,000 years ago to the modern nation we call America, this country has been blessed. It has been extraordinarily raised up in the community of nations. It is powerful, the strongest, the richest, and one of the most decadent of societies on earth. Bringing the biblical picture of Babylon and the warnings of the prophets to the forefront, you are confronted with the stark reality of a nation that has gone over the top in pursuit of pleasures. The lurid lifestyle of Americans and the lukewarmness of many Christians present a contrast to the biblical basis of Christian discipleship. From the Prophets to the Apostles, we are warned of this perilous society in which we live. Now in this book we see the rejoicing America, who sits upon the heap of the nations and glories in her success. The falling away from the true God to a God that doesn't see, nor hear, nor care is putting this nation on a collision course with the D-Day for America.

More About Dana G. Smith
After a divorce and years of feeling professionally unfulfilled in the corporate world, Dana switched gears and changed her career. She heeded her Soul's longing for something more. This led Dana to obtain her coaching credentials so that she could begin a career and a leadership development coaching practice. Soon after this career change, her nineteen-year-old son Garrett was hit by a train, and Dana's life took a dramatic turn. This event brought Dana to her knees as she found herself in the midst of the most unbearable pain she could imagine. Garrett's passing caused Dana to question everything she had learned about life. These questions gave way to answers and new understandings that changed every part of her being. While grieving for her son, Dana discovered that her connection with him did not end with his leaving his physical body. Taking all she had learned from this profound experience, Dana created a broader, more in-depth approach to her work. Combining powerful, intuitive coaching skills with a spiritual perspective, she provides a unique and dynamic platform for her clients. As an adjunct faculty member at Marylhurst University in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Dana has collaboratively pioneered the development and instruction of a series of highly successful coaching and leadership classes. Participants in these courses are adult students and professionals wanting to learn, build and strengthen their coaching and leadership skills. Prior to establishing her coaching practice, Dana Smith was a managing partner of a thriving sales and marketing consulting company. Her extensive professional career experience in sales, marketing, and public relations spans start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in the high- technology industry.
