Publishers Description Very few things distract Katie Addison when she's on a mission, whether it's opening her home to abused women, rehabilitating injured horses, or helping tall, gorgeous Warren Tate mend his broken heart. But when financial difficulties pile up for her, Katie hesitantly admits she herself may need help.Since his fiance left him, Warren is done with women---especially independent women, which he'd guess describes Katie Addison to a tee. Reluctantly he agrees to help Katie with her financial troubles. But when his budget doesn't include Katie's daily lattes, Warren realizes he may have a challenging client on his hands.Meanwhile, Sheriff Ben O'Keefe can't seem to get Katie's attention. Everyone in town knows he has had a longstanding crush on her. But to Katie, Ben is just Ben. When mysterious events turn Katie to him for help, is it the chance Ben has been waiting for?

Reviews - What do customers think about Now And Always?
Seemed like a rough draft to me. Jan 26, 2010
I bought this book at a local bargain outlet, based solely on the author. Every book I've read by her, to this point, has been thoroughly enjoyable and well-written. I am not sure what happened with this one, however. I really felt like I'd somehow bought the rough draft of this story. Please read something else she has written ( I suggest "Monday Morning Faith" -before you choose to read this one. I found it choppy, lacking substance, and totally unrepresentative of her wonderful historically based series I have read prior.
A "must have" for my personal library Sep 28, 2009
I read this book and then bought it because I enjoyed the story so much I wanted to read it more than once. My heart was touched by the stories of the women Katie cared for and the ministry she worked so hard to protect. And I loved the interplay between Katie and Sheriff Ben. I was rooting for the underdog from the very first.
a good story but parts drag Oct 20, 2008
i liked this book but i was geeting sick of knowing about the main characters addiction to lattes and i knew in the middle of the book who was harrasing her. i lkie that even though she came from an abusive background she still wanted to help abused women. i was wondering how the women in the shlter kenw about the place. she said her income came from medical transcriptions but there was one clininc in the whole town. if it was a small town how sick did these people get? overall it was a hopeful book
Not up to level of Copeland's talent Sep 12, 2008
This book had a great story line and could have been a great read. However, the characters were not developed and there was a sense you had been dropped in the middle of a story that had been going on for years without being brought up to date. I've enjoyed Copeland's books in the past but was disappointed in this one.
pretty good May 23, 2008
Now and Always is a very easy read. It flows smoothly in most parts. It was a little predictable though. I was about half way through the book when I had a good idea of how it would end. But overall it was very good. I loved the characters, especially Ben with his signs and fun loving personality!
