Incredible Read Dec 2, 2009
I have not had an incredible read in a long time. I absolutely loved the story of this young girl from the south. It rang so true from end to end. I could not put it down!! And yes...I had tears in my eyes when everything came together. It really tells a heartfelt story with second chances for so many. I highly recommend this to all my friends.

I picked this book up and did not put it down until the last words were read. The characters are incredible. Truitt's depiction of the South is amazing. The story of love and redemption is woven beautifully through out the pages of this novel. You will need Kleenex and don't plan on getting anything done once you pick this one up! A new and rising star on the Christian fiction stage!
An Enjoyable Read ... even for a guy Apr 8, 2009
Picked this book up off of my wife's nightstand one night and thumbed through it. Although I usually only read books on hunting and fishing, after reading a few pages of this "girley" book, it pulled me right in and I read the entire thing! The characters were intriguing and the author's depictions of small town southern life were funny, interesting and right on the mark. I feel like I grew up there.
The author also did a great job mixing romance with a Godly message. I'd recommend it to anyone with a romantic heart ... even a few of my hunting buddies.
