Item description for Texas Style Sudoku! by L Kirk Cheryl...
Texas is BIG. And Sudoku is big! Bring the two together and you have a unique puzzle book with loads of Texas trivia, plus hundreds of Sudokus, tons of Word Searches, and lots of crosswords. With this unique book you not only do the puzzles, but you learn something about the greatest state in the entire United States! You'll have fun doing these easy to slightly challenging puzzles and learning some unique trivia about Texas. For example, did you know that Texas has tons of weird laws? In Borger, it's against the law to throw confetti, rubber balls, feather dusters, whips or explosive firecrackers. Speaking of feather dusters, in Clarendon, it's illegal to dust any public building with a feather duster. And in Austin, you can't carry wire cutters in your pocket. Plus did you know in the state of Texas it's illegal to drive without windshield wipers or milk another person's cow? So put aside that feather duster and try your hand at these fun easy to slightly challenging puzzles. Sudoku & Wordoku are logical games. There's no math, no guessing, just loads of fun! Send this book to someone you love who loves Texas. And who doesn't love Texas? Yeehaw! The author was raised in Texas in the Texas panhandle in Borger, Texas, (once a boom town, now an all-american city!) just outside of Amarillo where the tumbleweeds tumble and the toads are really horny! While she's gone off to live in the biggest state in the nation, Alaska, her heart is still in Texas as are her parents.

Reviews - What do customers think about Texas Style Sudoku!?
Not all it's cracked up to be Jun 28, 2008
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I purchased this, thinking it would be a good size book to take along to doctor's office visits and other appointments. I purchased the book and starting going through the pages. I enjoyed the bits of Texas trivia and the word search puzzles, but that's where my enjoyment stopped. The book has 105 number Sudoku puzzles, a few Word Sudoku puzzles, and some crossword puzzles. However, there are no answers in the book for any of these puzzles if you get stuck or are not sure you are even close. Every web site mentioned in the book is not accessible - either no longer exists or I get some other website that has nothing to do with answers to the puzzles in this book. DO NOT BUY this book unless you are a professional sudoku solver and/or you know a 6-letter word for "Small town on Highway 77".
Great fun little book for Texas Lovers Dec 6, 2007
Somebody got this for me for a present. What a kick. It's a fun little book full of puzzles and loads of Texas trivia. I had no idea that Texans consume 40% of the farm-raised catfish. Who woulda thunk. The puzzles range from crosswords with Texas themes to word searches in the shape of Texas to Sudoku and Wordoku puzzles. It's a great book for anyone who is a big fan of Texas (raised there in my childhood) and who likes to keep their mind sharp and learn something. This would be a great book for kids in schools. I just love the pictures on the back. Reminds me of home. Definitely a great Christmas gift for a puzzle lover who loves Texas
