Reviews - What do customers think about Selections from Ovid with notes and vocabulary (Focus Classical Library) (Latin Edition)?
works as advertised Jul 20, 2006
Dunmore's selections are indeed perfect for intermediate and advanced students. Most excerpts are substantial, so I wouldn't recommend it to relative novices, but there are some shorter selections. Notes are sufficient and to the point, ditto for the vocabulary, again perfect for advanced students. The literary quality is excellent throughout, Ovid at his best. Big bang for the buck.
