Mirror of Karma is a lively novel with loads of action - supernatural duels, battles, confrontations, and defiances. Elaborated sub-stories adorn the overall plot, with each chapter an episode of good versus evil. Throughout the book, Charles Bargerstock maintains the suspense so that the reader wants to keep reading. Through the words of the author, the reader is transported into the action - I came out flying!
Mirror of Karma Review Aug 7, 2002
This was a very exciting book. Fast paced and action filled. Very easy read and made you feel like you were in the story. Mr. Bargerstock has introduced a new concept using supernatural aspects. It would make a great movie. Along the lines of a Stephen Spielberg or George Lucas movie. Can't wait to read the sequel!!
Fast Paced, Riveting and Timely... Jul 25, 2002
Charles Bargerstock's book combines the best of Robert Ludlum and J.R.R. Tolkien. It breaks the boundaries of most genre novels by combining elements of an international action thriller along with fantasy and spirituality. The plot involves clashing two larger than life characters in a classic good versus evil struggle - the stuff great epics are made out of. It's particularly timely since Hagmar, the villain, is a terrorist who is using weapons of mass destruction and psychic powers in his quest for world domination from his remote mountain fortress.
