Dearest Dorothy, If Not Now, When?
I loved this series.. Too bad, as I understand, the publishers didn't want to publish the remaining/ending book(s). I'll not be reading her new series.. if publishers don't want to end one, I don't want to be left hanging with another.
FANATASTIC and addicitve!!! Mar 17, 2009
I have read all the "Dearest Dorothy" books and cannot recommend them highly enough. Baumbich has created a world in "Pardon-Me-Ville" that becomes a part of your family allowing you an escape in this overwhelming and overstressed we live in today where neighbor still knows and cares about neighbor. It gives us all a nice break from everyday life.

I have read all of the Dearest Dorothy series and they are wonderful. It feels so good to read about small towns and people who care about each other!! Takes your mind off all the awful "wordly" things...

Delightful reading Jan 1, 2008
Let me see if I can remember what I wrote about another one of these Partonville novels. They are simply wonderful; humorous, entertaining and inspirational. They cheer me up and make me feel as if I'm returning to a charming hometown each time. I hope Charlene finds time to pen many, many more sequels of these lovely families!!!
